Lasts about 4 weeks! Clean Tuning is a product that provides the same effect as speed glue: speed, sound and game sensation--But it is not a glue. It is a Sponge Expander. Clean Tuning contains no VOC*. After the application of Clean Tuning the effect lasts for about 4 WEEKS during which you will not need to do a second application. Clean Tuning is to be applied on the back of the rubber only (to the sponge). To adhere the rubber to the blade you then need to use a self adhesive film or a VOC-free glue (sold separately).

ALL WATER-BASED GLUES, including Clean Tuning Extra, must be kept between 40 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit (5 to 40 C.).

As of August, 2008, ITTF has advised players that they should NOT change the rubbers in ANY way after it is produced by the manufacturer. ITTF says this includes the use of sponge expanders, boosters, speed glue, and anything that alters the playing characteristics of the rubber.
